Three Ways to be More Productive at Work
This week I sat down with Nicea DeGering from Good Things Utah on ABC4 to share three easy ways we can be more productive at work. Watch the full interview at this link to hear the strategies or check them out below.
Embracing full accountability for your own actions and productivity is crucial. Avoid letting external factors or the behavior of others become obstacles. Instead, strive to operate at your utmost potential and defy the norm of passing blame.
Establish clear communication. Don’t expect your boss to read your mind and understand what is going on. Have open communiation so you and your boss can both be productive.
Invest in your emotional intelligence. The ability to self regulate your emotions and build resilience, even in tricky situations, will not only help you be more productive, but it will help others succeed as well. 90% of working Americans say that if they were happier and more resilient they would be more productive. This makes for better team players and better leaders.
The last statistic is from the national research I conducted on happiness and resilience in the workplace. Check out more of the findings and how they can improve your workplace here.
Cheering you on,
Michelle
